{nearly an elk} loves {cranial eel gel}

Oh my goodness, is this site ever fun!! In case you are wondering, the products of aforementioned love are {eternal zest lion} and {ran cell lone one}.

Since my computer is down for the weekend due to geeky husband reformatting/updating/fixing it, I have just been wondering aimlessly around the internet on our laptop, and found another great site. This is just addicting. I remember really struggling over anagrams, not understanding people who could just "see" words within words. Now, thanks to technology, we don't have to do it ourselves anymore!! So......I typed all our names into the box, and it momentarily spit out literally thousands of combinations. My name only had 188.......my husband's had 4,002......my oldest had 1,139.......and surprisingly, my youngest's name had 23,821!!! (and to think that I thought it would have the least, because seriously, how many words have a *z* in them???) And no, I did not read them all (I don't have that much extra time!!) but I did glance at a few and posted the best of what I saw.

Go ahead....have fun!! And be sure to comment with what you think the best anagram of your full name is. (hehe.....a good way to see who is actually reading this blog! :)

Monday, July 16

This is just awesome.

I remember arguing with my cousins from NJ when we would travel there for the summer.....they were adamant that they did NOT have an accent.....(lol! they said things like "wooter" for "water.")

Try it.

And for the record...the results of my quiz said that "...no one thinks you have an accent..."

Well....they haven't met my cousins. ;)

Camano Island, WA

A lovely friend of mine from college was here visiting family in June. The boys and I took a trip up to Camano Island to hang out with her family for the day. We had a grand time exploring the beach, finding little crabs, rocks, and a big dead crab or two. So last week I just got an email from {A} nicely reminding me that I told her I would put some photos up on my blog. Whoops! I am woefully behind....so I am playing catch-up. :) Here ya go, {A}. Thanks again for such a wonderful day!

Swim Lessons

So I signed up my boys for swim lessons. *sigh* {c} loves them, and {n} is not so sure (notice how tightly he has his arm around his instructor's neck...lol.) We are there every M-Th night for 2 weeks. We have friends taking lessons there as well, so before and after the lessons they splash around a bit in the kiddy pool. That pool is {n}'s favorite...he just likes all the fun bath toys that people bring. This week has been huge for {c}...he used to hate having his face wet. Now, he will willingly (and often!) put his face under water. He also discovered how super cool showers are! Yay! He is certainly growing up...
OH! And {n} is now potty trained....he can go to school in the fall!!
