Great expectations...

So one of my dear friends is having her first baby, and had me document this momentous occasion. I don't have words for how excited I am for {C} and {B} to be parents...this baby girl is truly lucky.

What a treat for me to photograph this little guy! His mom is in my book club. I had to work at getting the smiles, but I think we got some keepers.

I had the opportunity to photograph my friend {C}'s family. I absolutely *love* her daughters' hair! (I think we are all so interested to see what color hair baby girl #3 has!) Enjoy. :)

Ocean Shores

The Washington beaches are not known for sunbathing. So we were prepared when we took an improptu trip on the *lucky* weekend (7.7.07) to Ocean Shores. We played in the sand all bundled up in fleece and hats, went swimming in the indoor (and outdoor--brrrrr!!!) pools, and rented a fun 4-person-but-only-mom-and-dad-have-pedals *bike*. The highlight was definitely when daddy suggested we go through the drive-thru coffee shop on the bike! Very fun for {c} to order and pay for his own drink!

It really is all about the memories, isn't it.

Ha! This one just deserves to stand alone. :)
